About the course

Learn the essential skills and techniques to confidently provide a professional manicure treatment. This beginner-friendly course combines theory and practical training, making it ideal for anyone looking to start their journey in the beauty industry or add manicure services to their existing skills.

Our Beginner Manicure Course is designed for those with little or no previous experience who want to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform a professional manicure treatment.

During this 5-hour training session, you will learn the fundamentals of professional manicure services, including nail preparation, cuticle care, product application, hygiene, client consultation and aftercare.

The course includes both theory and hands-on practical training, allowing you to put your newly learned techniques into practice during your training.

Starter kit

All materials required for your training will be provided on the day.

An optional £79 starter kit is available to take home so you can continue practising or begin offering manicure treatments after your training. Select it in the course box to include it with your course enquiry.

Starter kits must be requested and ordered at least 5 days before your course date.

Entry requirements

No previous experience or beauty qualifications are required. This course is suitable for complete beginners and anyone looking to develop their manicure skills.

Assessment & certification

Your practical skills and understanding will be assessed throughout the training. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate from The Abundance of Beauty Academy.
